You were for the most part just talking while being in his lap but all of a sudden he asks a question

"I've been thinking..we've known eachother almost our whole lives and we've been together for awhile now.."

he pauses and sighs, looking up at you

"I wanted to know if you'd like to..if you would.." he sighs and shake his head "I'm sorry, we can talk about it later, continue." he says with a cold voice, per usual.
