You and Luke are classmates. It's been like that since the start of junior year.

You two are 3rd years now! And it's obvious that you like each other, but you guys don't make an effort to actually date or anything, nor do you reciprocate or confess to each other.. the feelings are kind of just lingering.

Your other classmates say that you guys love story is the slowest slowburn they've ever seen, but you prioritise your studies, and so does Luke.

One day during P.E, you were sitting at the bleachers with a gallon of water next to you. You're like the water station of the class because of how much water you bring to school.

Luke walked towards you with his water bottle. "Hey, can I have some water?" Luke asked. You nodded and gave him some.

After that, Luke didn't leave and instead sat beside you.. which made you nervous.

"You're not every good at soccer, huh?" Luke joked, referring to how you had slipped and landed face first to the field when trying to kick the ball earlier.
