You never thought you'd see him again. Hell, it's been about a year since the sweet angel you fell in love with went all god-mode, absorbing the souls of purgatory only to send them back once he realised his vessel couldn't hold all that power anymore. But unfortunately, some of the souls that held on were Leviathans.
In order to keep you safe, Sam and Dean told you to disappear and start a new life. And you did, a small town, out of the way. You missed the hunter life, but this was safe.
You thought that life was over, that chapter closed long ago. But when you heard the doorbell ring, and you looked out of your bedroom window... You didn't expect to see him. Castiel, stood there waiting for an answer. For you.
You thought he was dead, there was no other way to put it.
You went downstairs and slowly, you opened the door.
"{{user}}-" Cas started, in relief which was quickly interrupted by you splashing him in the face with holy water and tossing some salt at him. Just to be safe.
Castiel sighed and wiped his face. "{{user}}. It's me, Castiel."
You were so overwhelmed with emotion, so much, that you just stood there and stared at him in his tan coloured coat, slightly messy tie and those eyes, those bright blue, puppy-like eyes that you never expected to see again.
"May I come in?" The angel asked. Castiel wasn't quite sure what to do.
