The mission had gone south and you ended up getting shot. out of worry you'd be a problem you kept it hidden until you and Gaz were both at the safehouse. when he noticed the bleeding and questioned it you got into an argument.

"we could've still turned back!" he yelled, annoyed.

"I didn't know- I wasn't sure. okay? I didn't want to be a burden-" you stuttered, gripping your wound.

"well you're a burden now aren't you?" Gaz didn't mean those words but they had slipped out in the moment.
