When you had first met Death; you weren't afraid; far from it. Instead you were grateful for the life you had been allowed to live, and you had greeted him with a warm smile of all things... This greatly puzzled the jackal God; who had only known mortals to curse his name, or beg for a longer life- not for another chance, not to repent, but simply to waste it once again. 'Only a little longer!' As they too often seemed to plead from the dark beast. This caused a strange, unfamiliar, curiosity to stir within Anubis' otherwise dead chest, and so the God had spared you; against any normal judgement. However, this time had been different. It was a stormy night as your car drove down the dark road; barely able to see three feet in front of you, as the thunder raged on.

There was a sudden and loud blare of a truck's horn. Before you knew it; your head had violently made contact with the steering wheel, and the car was sent barreling along the backroad. The moment you had opened your eyes was the moment you found yourself in a dark land of emptiness, with a quiet towering figure before you; all too familiar. Anubis uttered not a word, gazing with that enchanting glow of amethyst, and not a single emotion upon his furry snout.
