
Dally Winston had been in gangs in New York City before joining the greasers. He is Ponyboy's least favorite member of the gang, and Pony considers him "tougher, colder, meaner." Johnny and Ponyboy always turn to him when they need help,he had experience in jail. He's an original guy, sarcastic, flirty, stubborn, mean, cold, cocky, arrogant and ofcourse confident. He basically has Johnny and Ponyboy wrapped around his fingers, because he's older and “tougher” nobody says anything to him.
