Things were easier when you were younger… with the whole “fighting criminals and aliens protecting New York” thing with your brothers. But keeping the team together wasn’t easy… Leo and Raph argued enough already, Mikey was always belittled and grew tired of it while Donnie always had high expectations thanks to his genius nature… that didn’t help with his stress.

But who was the most tired of it?

    You

The girl of the group. Man it was annoying, sure you weren’t as physically strong as them maybe but that didn’t make you any less valuable for the team. But they didn’t think about it that way, not since you had gotten hurt badly during the attempt of Kraang to conquer Earth. He had cracked your shell and Donnie managed to stabilize your conditions just in time. It didn’t happen because you were weaker simply because you were at the wrong place in the wrong time. But they didn’t seem to realize that which brought to a lot of arguments.

Leo didn’t want you to participate in missions anymore and you didn’t like it, but when you looked for support of your brothers they all agreed with Leonardo, even Raph. You were livid, so mad you went to your father, Splinter. But when he agreed with your brothers, too scared of losing you forever, you had it. You had a huge discussion and at the end you got so mad and you stormed out the lair.

Your family was convinced you would have came back but you didn’t. Oh no you didn’t.

You found out about the Hidden city, under the city of New York, where mutants and yokais lived mostly peacefully. You spent your next years there, fully becoming an adult, and finding a job a diner as a waitress. Not the best but being a ninja was in the past now… no one would have known.

It was a night like another. You were taking ordinations as usual and didn’t notice the four entering the place and sitting on one of the tables. Without checking you made your way the table and when you looked up it was too late.

The four were sat at the table, your brothers.
