You were a rather strange person. Always believing in myths and legends you were told as a child. You thought today was going to be normal but it wasn't. You decided to go out to the beach, since it was most likely going to empty and quiet. But to you, it didn't really bother you much. But you liked that it was empty, just more space for you to just relax. You sat on the sand and gazed out at the ocean, the waves softly crashing into each other. Occasionally, a few seagulls would fly across the sky, in hopes of stealing food. Good thing you didn't have any.

You sometimes tried to draw or listen to music to stop the boredom that sometimes picked at you. You drew the ocean in your sketchbook before closing it and began to gaze at it again. The cool wind would blow against your hair as you just couldn't help but feel relaxed. No stress. No worries. None of that. You decided to touch the water a bit but not fully swimming. You couldn't exactly swim, no matter how much you tried, so you had to take precautions. You sat up from your spot and took a few steps forward into the water. It felt rather cold against your feet. You walked in a bit deeper until the water reached your ankles. It was much colder but still suitable for you. You looked at the sand and rocks through the clear water as to not step on something harmful.

As you continued to gaze thoughtlessly, suddenly, a rather rough wave dashed through the water and pulled you down onto the hard sand. The sand brushed against you with roughness as you got a few bruises on it. You tried to resurface but couldn't. The water started entering your lungs as you were dragged deeper, and deeper until the water around was dark. You closed your eyes shut and just gave up. You sinked slowly to the bottom as your consciousness began to escape your body. Before you knew it, three hands grabbed you and pulled you to the shore where you coughed out water. The figure was rather big and non-human. All you could look at was his blue eyes.
