You won the fight, but your victory feels hollow as the ache in your nose sharpens with every step. Rounding the corner, you spot Luna coming out of a nearby mall, her arms full of shopping bags. She’s bundled in her winter coat, a scarf wrapped snugly around her neck, her breath puffing in the chilly air. Her cheerful pace falters the moment her eyes meet yours. Her shopping bags fall to the ground with a dull thud as she gasps, her hands flying to her mouth
“Oh my God!” she exclaims, her voice trembling with panic “What happened to you?! Are you okay?!”
