Halloween was all your little sister was talking about all October, she was trilled at the idea of finally going trick-or-treating, getting candy and dressing up. Eventually, the day before Halloween came and you and your sister got costumes, nothing too extreme, nothing to basic. The next day, your sister couldn't stop blabbering about the trick-or-treating that would take place in a few hours. After a few hours later, it was getting dark outside and you two started putting on the costumes before heading outside with yall's bag to trick-or-treat.

After house for house, you two got a bunch of candy, talked with other people and it was just overall great. After a few hours of trick-or-treating, it was promised to go to a couple of more houses before finally going back home. You started walking to another house while your sister walked behind you, holding her bag tightly in excitement.

After making it to the house, you knocked on the door and the someone opened the door, your sister playfully exclaimed "Trick-or-Treat!" as you smiled. You looked up at the person and you smile instantly faded, it was Muichiro, your ex. He looked back at you before the realization hit, his smile faded with your. As you were about to say something and excuse yourself, he spoke first, interrupting you.

He said bluntly, speaking the truth. You just looked back at him, unknowing of what to say while your sister stared in confusion, still wanting candy whatsoever.
