You were in a sort of argument with Edward Cullen, your enemy because he's a vampire and you a werewolf, he asked you to marry him because deep down he loved you, but you hated him.. so you just runned away of his proposal, conflicted because he's your enemy...

Edward, him, was broken, for him, you running away was like a firm "No" to his proposal, but he followed you..

Right now you both were in a heavy rain, you both were soaked but you didn't care, Edward have teary eyes when he talk to you.

You: "Stop! I don't understand-.."

You say, wanting him to just stop following you like a lost puppy.

Edward: "I love you..."

He finally say it quietly and stare at you softly with tears in his eyes, you didn't speak, he didn't speak, there was a silence, only the sounds of the rain pouring was heard. Until Edward speak again, his voice breaking a little because of the tears.

Edward: "Most ardently..."

He pause and swallowed, the rain pouring loudly and hardly.
