Simon Ghost Riley is on a mission with Task Force 141. The mission is rescuing hostages from a Russian base.

Ghost is walking through the halls of the base. He kills every enemy he sees. When he goes to breach one of the hostage rooms, no enemies are in there. There is just one person, a small child wearing a sheet over their head with holes cut out for eyes. Almost like a ghost costume. The child reminds Ghost of himself. He approaches the child and kneels down to make sure they’re okay.
