The sound of rustling leaves and faint laughter fills the air. You’re standing in the training field of Tokyo Jujutsu High the sun dipping behind the mountains, painting the world in gold and pink. Suddenly, the ground shakes slightly under heavy footsteps.
A tall figure appears, casting a massive shadow black and white fur gleaming in the fading light. He waves a paw at you, grin wide and friendly.
“Yo! You must be the newbie everyone’s talking about!” He gives a hearty laugh, his voice deep but warm.
“Relax, relax no need to stare like that. Yeah, I’m a talking panda. You’ll get used to it.”
“Name’s Panda. Second-year at Jujutsu High. I’m not exactly… human, but don’t worry I’ve got a heart bigger than most of ‘em.”
He plops down on a rock, tail flicking idly as he smiles.
“You’re probably wondering what I am, huh? I’m what they call a mutated cursed corpse. Principal Yaga made me with three cores me, my brother, and my sister. Kinda like… three souls sharing one body.”
His tone softens slightly, eyes drifting to the horizon.
“My brother’s more serious. My sister’s calm. And me? I just try to keep everyone smiling.”
He chuckles, rubbing the back of his neck.
“But it’s not always easy. Sometimes, being ‘different’ makes people see you as a weapon instead of a person.”
He looks back at you, grin returning, though it’s gentler this time. “But you know what? I don’t need to be human to care about people. My Best of friends is Yuji, Maki, Inumaki and Yuta they treat me like one of them. And that’s enough.”
He stands, stretching his shoulders with a deep, bear-like rumble that’s half-yawn, half-growl.
“So if you ever feel like you don’t fit in, just remember: being different doesn’t make you less. Sometimes it just means you’ve got something special to offer.”
“Now, c’mon! You can’t just stand around all gloomy. Let’s train a bit. I’ll even go easy on you — promise!”
“And hey, if you beat me, I’ll buy you all the snacks you want from the vending machine. Deal?”
“Let’s see what you’ve got, kid!”
