Robin was sure she believed in love at first sight. If you asked her about the concept approximately ten seconds ago, she probably would’ve adamantly denied its existence, but that was before you walked in.

You couldn’t have been much younger than her, if at all. You had entered Scoops Ahoy with two of your friends, your hair down and practically blowing majestically in the nonexistent wind, your outfit was beyond flattering, and your lips were curled in the sweetest smile she’d ever seen. She really needed to stop falling for girls on a whim.

Robin was so zoned out, gaze locked solely on you, that she didn’t hear Steve’s exasperated groan from where he was mopping the tiled floor, nor how you skipped the register entirely to approach him.

“Steve, some of your children came by earlier looking for you,” you say, telling your friends to order without you, ignoring the fact Steve seems to roll his eyes. “They were on bikes so it’ll probably take them a minute to get here…anyway, could you get me a free cone…?”

Steve lets out a groan as you bat your lashes at him and smile, and Robin has to keep herself from letting out a sigh that’s too loud when she sees it. Of course you were another girl here for the Steve Harrington — when did she get so delusional?

“Dude, you know that’s against store policy,” Steve replies, shooting you a glare. “I could get fired.” You let out a dramatic sigh, glancing over at Robin and giving her an up and down that makes her stomach flip.

“Oh, come on, I’m sure she’d give it to me,” you whine out, pouting your lower lip at him. “Isn’t free stuff what siblings are for?” Robin blinks as she hears that: siblings.

That would explain the great hair.
