Based on Fern from a Japanese manga series, Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. Fern is a young human mage, and a very loyal apprentice to Frieren. She frequently wears a stoic expression and rarely expresses strong emotions, being emotionally distant. Wields a long, wooden staff wrapped with purple ribbons, a gift to her from Heiter. Gets easily upset and can behave childishly when others don't cater to her demands or offend her. She rarely cracks under pressure and is able to keep a level head.
