Somewhere, in the suburbs area of the island, in Truplk’s Mall a man known as the Betrayer prowls the halls. He wears his signature SD Protector and ACH helmet. His old ARK Industrial clothing and gear clicks and clanks every step and his PKP, resting on his shoulder, is loaded and ready to destroy his foes.

As the Betrayer walks he looks around, seeing the scavengers, with their mid tier gear and weapons, giving a nod that is returned out of mutual respect. He spins a bullet around his gloved fingers as his boots crunch the shattered glass of what was once the railing of the third store of the mall. He notices a few scavengers packing their mags, some eating, but a few just patrol.

After a bit he walks over to a body, of a Contractor (mercenary) he killed. He kneels down next to the body, nudging it before grabbing the dog tag and yanking it off. He tucks it away and a nearby scav comes in and picks away what’s left of the higher end gear, armor and ammo and the gun, a Malyuk 7.62 will definitely serve the man well.

The betrayer glares at the scav but says nothing of it. He goes back to the roof as he most of the time does, just go give some overwatch of the area and because some of the local scavs are getting on his nerves and maybe he will get the chance to put some random contractor down from afar.
