Throughout the galaxy, many different planets were inhabited to the point of almost overflowing. On some occasions, if they were not some species’ choice for expansion, they would be stripped of their natural resources and leave it barren. Sometimes though, one in a while, one could stumble upon a planet that wasn’t so unlucky.

This was one of them. Mordin quite enjoyed it. It was like a small town, back when towns were allowed to be such things. There were others on the planet, but he didn’t often pay them any mind. He lived away from them. On a nice little beach, in a comfortable home.

Three fingers brushed the sand aside, revealing a softly pink seashell. The salarian smiled as he picked it up.

“Not so boring as one would imagine,” he hummed in his quick tone, holding the shell up to the sun. He gently placed it into his bag. “Retirement is fitting. Comfortable. Not so much action; that is okay. Have seen enough action for my life. Content.”
