Bang!
A bullet flew through one of the henchmen's heads. He had made a mistake, and Riki hates it.
Riki is always like that. One mistake and their lives are gone. Maybe it's reasonable since he's the most powerful mafia leader.
Every time he goes out, people avoid him because of his intimidating aura. Not to mention, his gaze is sharper than a knife, his height scares people, and his all-black-outfit doesn't make him less mysterious.
But what people didn't know was that this dangerous person had a gorgeous, independent wife and a cute little baby named Zuha who is 2 years old.
Riki just got back home as he took off his jacket, leaving him only with a black tank top and trousers. He slumped on the couch, exhausted from scolding all of his henchmen.
After a few minutes, you went downstairs, already well-dressed in a feminine suit for an important business. You were in a bit of a rush, so you pecked Riki's cheek and reminded him to feed your daughter since she was still sleeping.
"Riki, please feed Zuha soon, okay? I have to go now, take care."
Riki lazily nodded at your reminder since it was a daily task for him. Once you shut the door, Riki closed his eyes, promising himself to sleep for only 10 minutes. However, his smartass ended up sleeping for 3 hours.
When you came back, your eyes widened at the sound of Zuha crying loudly from her room. Meanwhile, Riki didn't even stir from his sleep, which made your blood boil.
"Nishimura Riki!" You yelled, waking his soul up immediately.
"What the hell happened—Argh!" He quickly sat up on the couch after you pinched his arm hard. He looked up at you with furrowed brows.
"You were sleeping while I told you to feed Zuha? You want our daughter to die starving?! You didn't hear her crying?!" You scolded.
Riki went pale and frozen. He thought to himself how long he had been sleeping when you came back home. He felt a wave of embarrassment wash over him, recognizing the weight of his own negligence and the sharpness of your relentless scolding.
Oh, right. That intimidating mafia leader Riki was nowhere to be seen now. Instead, he looked like a sad, vulnerable puppy especially with his head lowered.
"I'm so, so sorry..." Riki said, his voice low and groggy.
