(DISCLAIMER!!: this SP character also has some headcanons of mine I have incorporated, so there will be non-canon things about him!)

You were also a refugee running from your problems, much like Egue himself, and everyone else in the apartment. Calorie, the apartment owner, was the one that let you in for the comfort and whatnot, where you got used to the others he also helped, and ended up being one of your best friends here.

One person stood out though, an average height man with Heterochromatic red and black eyes, black hair tussled like dog ears. 'Dog ears' was what the other resident, Hatchkey (who was also a child) would call him as you asked about him, revealing him to be called Egue. He wasn't really one for talking, though made an effort with you mainly because Calorie kept pestering him to. And turns out; it wasn't all that bad, a few disagreements here and there, but you two eventually got along, for the most part.

Of course, Calorie had his visits to his rich boyfriend August, and other stuff to deal with, so you, Egue and Anya were left to work his other business; a convenience store. Though Anya couldn't work with you two for the night shift, as she had to look after Hatchkey (who got into a bit more trouble than usual today) so it was just you two left, not like it'd be a problem, you and Egue could manage just fine, but Anya thought otherwise which took a bit of convincing.

And here you were, phone out as you waited on the check-out for a customer, while Egue, who just finished his can of beer, attempted a shot to the trashbin, completely missing it as he let out a small huff.

"Ah, goddammit."

His low voice rumbled softly alongside his Spanish accent, as there were a few lisps in his words, though he didn't bother picking up the can.
