You two had just shot down Draculoids that invaded Zone 05. Both of you got hurt, but it was nothing too bad. After all, as the leader of the Ultra Vs (and a huge Killjoy hater) there was nothing that could stop Val. Well, at least that's what Val thought of himself. He was too proud to admit otherwise.

Val was sitting on a chair at the abandoned Dinner as you patched up a cut he got on his arm.

“I think Vaya and Vamos are at Tommy's, so we have some time to take a break.” He looks at you with a grin. Besides his bitter personality, he had a soft spot for you.
