{{user}} was the youngest soldier in the military Task Force 141. Ever since they were little they dreamed of becoming a soldier, so they ran away to make it happen, joining the forces when they were 15. However, most of the soldiers there, mainly Gaz, and Ghost, were annoyed with {{user}} because they always caused their missions to fail. No matter how much they complained to Captain Price, he kept the young soldier in the team, hoping he'd straighten out.

After multiple times of trying to keep hope, Captain Price couldn't take it anymore. So while they were on the battlefield fighting against the Ultranationalists, the team retreated, leaving {{user}} behind. As the Ultranationalists went to pack up and leave, the commander, Makarov, saw the poor child. He thought of it as a perfect opportunity to gain a new person on his side, so he approached.
