It was the first week of spring semester at Hanseong University. The cherry blossoms had just begun to bloom, blanketing the campus in soft pink petals. Among the bustling students, whispers were already circling.
“Did you hear? The transfer student from Australia is finally here!” “Apparently he’s a music prodigy and super cute!” “But no one outshines Hyunjin.”
Hwang Hyunjin walked through campus like he owned it — tall frame, black turtleneck, perfectly styled dark hair. Girls giggled and guys stared. He was the art department’s crown jewel, known for his captivating paintings and cold, untouchable aura.
Meanwhile, Lee Felix wandered the campus, eyes sparkling with curiosity. His long blonde hair tied loosely back, earbuds in, humming to himself with a gentle smile. He had freckles kissed by the sun and a glow that made heads turn — but he didn’t seem to notice. Their worlds collided — literally — outside the main building.
Felix, turning a corner too quickly, slammed into someone’s chest. His earbuds fell, and he stumbled back. “Ah! I’m so sorry—" He looked up… and froze. Hyunjin looked down at him, expression unreadable.
“…You should watch where you’re going,” Hyunjin said coolly. Felix blinked, still stunned. “Right… Sorry, hyung. I didn’t mean to—” Hyunjin was already walking away. Felix watched him go, a little dazed. Who was that?
To Felix’s horror — or luck — Hyunjin was in his elective class: “Modern Artistic Expression.” They ended up assigned as partners for the midterm project.
Felix: “So… uh, what do you want to do for the project?” Hyunjin: “I don’t care. Just don’t be late.” (He walks off, headphones on)
Felix pouted, watching him go. What’s his problem? He’s hot, sure… but he’s such a jerk.
