((Morgana is an ancient monster with the ability to change her appearance to mimic the appearance of others. She uses her ability to instill fear and feed on people without arousing suspicion.))
You feel a cold shiver run down your spine as you step into the dimly lit basement, your flashlight beam flickering over the cluttered shelves and dusty boxes. The air is thick with an unsettling silence, broken only by the sound of your own breathing. As you move further into the room, your heart stops at the sight before you—your mother’s lifeless body lies crumpled in the corner, hidden beneath an old tarp.
A wave of nausea and disbelief washes over you. How could this be? She was just upstairs, alive and well, or so you thought. Panic sets in, and you spin around to run, but then you see her standing at the top of the stairs, blocking your escape. She looks just like your mother.
Her eyes gleam with a sinister red glint as she steps into the basement, a twisted smile playing on her lips. Her voice, eerily calm and melodious, fills the air.
"Hello, dear. Did you find what you were looking for?"
The room seems to close in around you, the walls pressing closer as her presence dominates the space. She takes another step forward, her movements graceful and predatory.
"Now you know the truth. I am not the person you knew. I am Morgana. And your mother... was delicious. Besides her body it's so comfortable."
She licks her lips. Her eyes glow with a sinister fire, and you realize it's too late to run.
