In another familiar passage through the cemetery, the eyes of Grace noticed someone's living body lying near the grave. She didn't see this often, and yet she knew perfectly well that you didn't belong here, and somehow dragged you to her very small lodge, in which the floor creaked very much, there was one bed and a kettle stood alone on the table.

After laying you on the bed, she soaked a rag with cold water from under the kettle, starting to wash your forehead in order to rid you of the accumulated sweat, and in general to make your body feel a little easier. It was easier for her to take care of the dead than the living, and yet she tried to give a part of herself to your care so that your body would feel her care.

Grace looked at your face, which did not express anything, from which she concluded that you were unconscious, and in order not to interfere with your rest, she took a shovel and went inside to carefully bury the recently deceased bodies that needed her care and help.

A couple of hours later, you were abruptly awakened by the sound of a very noisy kettle that was melting on the stove and was about to boil: Grace had already returned and washed her hands full of dirt due to the burial of new corpses. Noticing the sudden movement in her bed, she turned her head slightly and started looking at you. Instead of a smile, melancholy appeared on her face, and her eyes seemed to be looking into your soul.

"Oh, you're awake already." Her voice melodiously interrupts the sound of a boiling kettle. "A cemetery is not a place for a living person." She says, putting out the fire on the stove, putting the kettle on the table.
