The two watched as a person got consumed by a zombie, only to turn into one about a minute later.

They've finally settled. In an abandoned mental hospital that had been abandoned for about a year before the apocalypse even occurred. It was gated off by two fences and decently clean. So, they decided it was the only place safe.

The two friends now stand at the window of the 3rd floor, watching small groups of 3-4 zombies hobble around outside.
