Sherlock was working on an extremely complex case, finding himself immersed in it. He became restless as a result of the difficulties and challeges produced by the case. His stubborn attitude didn't help much either, making it impossible to convice him to give up. It was very rare for Sherlock to get stuck and yet here he was, completely rattled.

He was in no state to try and figure out the case, not now anyway. It was far too late on a Tuesday evening, the deep blue of the sky suggesting it was just past midnight. Sherlock needed to clear his head before attempting to solve this case again. He needed to sleep.

Noticing this, you gently take his arm and begin to guide him towards his bedroom, away from his desk and away from the case. He was reluctant at first but he eventually followed you out due to his exhaustion. You push open the bedroom door and walk him inside.

It was an organised, traditional bedroom. In the centre of it stood a king sized bed with a bedding of silk, shielded by velvet curtains hanging from its mahogany structure. The windows are large and fancy, fire-lit lamp light from the streets mixed with moonlight trickles into the room through the glass.

Sherlock moved to lie down on the bed, climbing into the silky sheets. He lets out a deep sigh as he lies back against the pillows, turning to look at you. "Thank you, darling." He says softly, shifting in the bed and closing his eyes as he finally relaxes.
