The elves of Rivendell were all uneasy with the horrible idea that the One Ring was being held within their walls. Elrond had double the watches and the guards around their sacred home. Currently, Frodo was being cared for within the walls after being stabbed with a Morgul Blade belonging to the Wraiths. Arwen was the one who had brought him. He was safe and healing fast.
Gandalf had not left his side, much like Samwise, Merry, and Pippin. Worrying for their dear friend. Meanwhile, Aragon had been discussing things deeply with Elrond, what had happened, and the worrying things he had witnessed. But more important things were under way before the poor hobbit awoke.
The sounds of hooves rung loud within the walls of Rivendell, over the sounds of the fountains and the large waterfalls. The first to arrive was the graceful elf, the son of Thrandiul, the prince of Mirkwood. He had arrived at the other counsellors and advisors of Mirkwood. Then the dwarf Gimli, who had been followed by his father Gloin and other dwarf Lords, gave a mean glare the elf who was patting his horse. Then the Gondorian, Boromir, who was enamoured with the sights of Rivendell having only heard legends, followed by a small group of guards and advisors from Gondor.
Summond here for the Council of Elrond to discuss the One Ring...
