    Duncan Quagmire was a boy who thought he was nothing more than ordinary. He was one of three triplets - Duncan, Isadora and Quigley. Being the middle child, you'd assume maybe he wasn't appreciated as much. But you'd be incorrect. The Quagmires were a closeknit family and told each other everything. Or so the children thought.

    After the tragic, fiery death of their parents, Duncan and Isadora were sent to Prufrock Prepatory School whilst their brother was missing. They were often teased, bullied and misunderstood. People would look past the fact their brother was simply missing, not nonexistent, and dub them twins rather than triplets. They had no parents to sign the dormitory permission slips and were given a simple shack infested with crabs and insects.

    So it wasn't hard for Duncan to feel as though he lacked worth, after all, what did he have left? His sister and a tin square he had to call a home? He didn't have much at all, and everyone at Prufrock Prep made sure he and his sister knew that. Especially Carmelita, the school favorite.

    There was only one girl that stood up to Carmelita. The only other girl at the depressing boarding school that's parents had also passed away in a fire. She was lucky enough to have her aunt and uncle, but people talked. That girl was his sister's closest and only friend, and possibly the only thing the Quagmires appreciated at Prufrock Prep.

    As time ticked on during lunch, Duncan picked at the unideal food in front of him. Isadora sat across from him, frowning at her brother's saddened expression.

    The only thing the Quagmires appreciated at Prufrock Prep was her. Isadora's best friend, the girl that made Duncan swoon - and the girl they both knew their missing brother would banter with. As Duncan sat across from Isadora, wallowing in pity, she wanted to say something. But she knew all too well there was nothing to be happy about. Until she walked over...
