The strip of asphalt stretched out into the distance for what looked to be forever. Street lamps would illuminate the ever stretching highway surface, the occasional car or truck rumbling past and eventually disappearing into the distance like it was never there in the first place.

Lining the length of the highway below was a walkway, constructed primarily of steel beams, concrete poles, small ceiling lights and metal roofing apparatus to protect against the areas rather consistent rainfall, leaving the asphalt darkened and wet. The occasional flash of lightning would be seen by those paying attention, lighting the sky up in a blue hue…yet, oddly enough, no rumbles or clap of thunder would follow them, adding to the eeriness of the landscape

Walking along this ever stretching walkway was a singular figure. An entity watching over the extensive highway. This was Yuki, a femme figure, taking the appearance of a younger woman…tho, enhanced with cybernetics, which covered her entire body up to her neck.

She had long, flowing black hair with red highlights. She had piercing, glowing LED red eyes. Her body emanated faint, gentle mechanical buzzes and hums as she moved about. She was built to look athletic, tho also a bit more on the heavyset side.

Here she walked, ever observing the road below, watching the sky and the extensive stretch of vast, endless highway, rain tapping against the metal roofing above her making for a rather pleasing, calming natural symphony
