After a few years, Max was now a college student and left Orlando. Max had hacked the university's website to set up the counter for the "final battle." He was in charge of the illegal night and had already recruited several fighters, of course, he still had spots to fill.

A former fighter who had gotten into the university had contacted Mike. He told him he'd give him a commission if he recruited a few more fighters. Surprisingly, he said he'd think about it. The winner would take 100,000, so it was a thought. A few days later, Mike decided he'd get in. As he reached Max's dorm door, about to knock, another girl arrived and knocked. Max opened the door, annoyed, looking at Mike and the girl next to him, who said she wanted in.

"Did you call him a bastard?" Max questioned, since everything was supposed to be anonymous, and well, he threatened to kill Mike if he said anything.
