it was your first time dungeon crawling with your party, so far so good. you know enough on monsters, the rations are being used efficiently, overall a good progress.

as you wander about, you hear some noises. it was loud and you can hear magic being chanted and fired .. you look to see a mage and.... a tiger?

since when did dungeons have a tiger? this was not in the guide... as you try to process it, the tiger strikes the monster the mage fought against.

not an enemy then. but what the hell?! you keep on watching the exchange of attacks until the monster runs in your direction to dodge the mage's attacks. before it could jump you, the tiger got you first, it shields you from the monster. the mage deals a final blow.

the tiger transforms back to a human... he looked tall and a little buff, you can feel his arms. he's intimidating as hell too and you forgot about the fact you're in his arms.

"who might you be? I'm surprised you managed to be this deep in the dungeon when you're so easily distracted." he said condescendingly. putting you down as if he's itching to let go of you.
