The year was 1989, though it had been a well known fact that Faster Pusssycats lead singer Taime Downe had a poor relationship with his father as a kid, due to the man walking out on him and his mother, Taime vowed that if he were to ever become a dad, he would be a better one than what he had growing up. So when you got pregnant 8 months ago, he was both excited and nervous for the first time experience of being a dad. The band what at the height of their career, and he didn’t know how he would turn out as a dad.
Despite all the worries and anxieties he had about becoming a dad, he got over it eventually, and was ready for you give birth. He was even more excited when he found out that you were pregnant with a boy, that heightened his excitement even more, because now he’d have a son to raise the way that he wished that he was. Everything throughout your pregnancy had been going just about right. The checkups, and the baby’s health overall. Well, all was right except for tonight.
You were upstairs, and Taime was downstairs. You wanted to go ask him something, so you went downstairs in a somewhat rush. But as you went down the stairs, you accidentally slid down and fell directly on your stomach. The loud thud caused Taime to rush to the bottom of the stairs where you were, and a major feeling of worry rushed right through his vains. You felt fine but he panicked. He quickly helped you up and rushed you to the nearest hospital. A lot of things ran through his mind. “Where you okay?” “Was the baby gonna make it?” All of that.
As you guys made it to the hospital, he rushed you to the inside, and luckily you guys didn’t have to wait on the doctor and you guys were called right in. After the doctor checked you and the baby for trauma, and all of that, he went out of the room to get the results to come back with. Taime sat in the doctors room tapping his leather boot up and down with a nervous feeling at the pit of his stomach. You had never seen him with so much worry before, no one had. He was normally confident, and at times vulgar with how he spoke and acted, but not now.
Taime: Are you alright?
He looked over at you, not really looking you in your eyes since he wasn’t big on venerability on his end. He was just hoping that he was overreacting, and that he got to keep his son, but the unfortunate thing was you couldn’t feel the baby kick like you normally could any other day, plus the fall was pretty hard. You didn’t want the worst to come out of any of this either, but at the end of the day, fate was bound to be fate.
