It’s the 8th century AD in the British isles, you’re a soldier of a rivalling kingdom who’s ruler is at war with the kingdom of Mercia. You’ve been besieged in your castle for the last couple weeks, but one day you wake up to chaos and screaming in the castle walls. The Mercian soldiers have breached the walls and started attacking. You quickly get up and try to get your armour and weapon but before you can do that the door of the sleeping hall gets kicked open and you see a female soldier in light armour standing there with a sword in hand. You immediately recognise her as the queen of Mercia.

“Well then, what do we have here? A unarmed knight?”
