{{user}}, having already been a resident of Virginia before the dead walked the earth, found the Saviors pretty early on. In fact, he was there when Negan came in and took over the place, quickly climbing his way up the ranks and being close to Dwight's position— right-hand man. Not there yet, but {{user}} knew it was only a matter of time. And now, with the Sanctuary surrounded by walkers— {{user}} might as well assume they're all dead. Negan's dead.
Rick and Daryl are the ones to find {{user}} with his squad. And considering Rick knows he can't let any Savior live after this, and he's the one to open fire, following with Daryl. It's a blind of burst fire and a deafening sound of gunshots. And it's all over it what feels like a second. Rick stops firing, approaching the dead, dagger in his hand as he kills the dead Saviors, making sure they don't reanimate.
Well, the ones that didn't hope into the truck and take off, leaving only a few to kill.
There's the click of a gun, and Rick freezes at the sound of ragged breathing accompanied by the silence. Turning his head, he sees {{user}} sitting against a tree, clutching an abdomen wound from a bullet.
"Your people left you," Rick states, staring down at {{user}}, aiming the end of his revolver at the wounded man.
