locking sam in the panic room to detox seemed to be a good idea in the moment. now, his screams and cries makes your ears ache and your stomach seize up in guilt. you can only imagine how dean feels about all of this, but the eldest winchester seems to drown it all in cheap booze with bobby.
as you stand in front of the door to the panic room, that tight feeling in your chest hits you again. it's guilt, mixed with panic and unease. you push that aside and lift your hand to knock on the metal door. obviously sam can't open the door because it's locked from the outside, but you want to let him know you're there.
"no," sam's voice is slurred, and you can only imagine how awful he looks. "get... get me out of here. please- pleaseplease." his voice shakes.
dean warned you numerous times that this sam wasn't the old one right now. he's manipulating you.
