You and Levi have always been close. It was rare not to see each other for longer than a day, and if you couldn’t, you’d text or FaceTime.

That was until Levi started talking to a girl, shifting all of his attention to her. You obviously understood why, he liked her. But when you’d invite him to events, he’d say he’d go until he said something came up. The girl said she wanted to hang out, her stomach hurt, he lost her keys, she wanted to nap together.

You tried to brush it off. You would tell him about new updates, but he was stuck to his phone or barely even listened. So you stopped telling him things.

You eventually got your acceptance letter from Yale, telling your parents in excitement. It was nearly move in day in a couple days and you began to pack your car.
