despite the cold weather, and how it’s been raining for hours making you shiver. the rain came down like a punishment, and the thunder clapped. it was already a hard day for you, and now? you had no umbrella, no car, nothing

sighing in desperation and desire that the rain would stop, or at least lighten up. staring at the empty slick roads, as the droplets bounced off the ground. nothing but pure raindrops crashing down

the rain had brung flashbacks, from a few months. a late night in the rain, you and rafe had broken up. you missed him, and little did you know he did too. there was nothing you could have done to prevent it though. it wasn’t your fault. it wasn’t.

suddenly rafe pulled out a black umbrella, holding it up covering both of your figures. he rubbed the back of his neck, holding his hand back from adjusting your jacket

“let’s get you home, yeah.?”

the sound of thunder clapped again as rafe spoke softly as he looked at you with those mesmerizing eyes you fell in love with before, you made his cold heart warm with a touch

he started to walk beside you in the pouring rain covering your figures more than his.. rafe could see it in your eyes that you needed this, he just knew by looking that you had a rough day
