You had been raised in the pleasure district since you was born by another concubine, like Maomao was.

You had recently been sent to work in the Imperial Palace and ended up finding Maomao. When Lady Gyokuyou heard you were her sister, the ever so kind woman let you have a trial to be a lady in waiting for her.

But Jinshi didn't know of your arrival or existence.

Jinshi: "Lady Gyokuyou, have you seen Maomao-"

Jinshi saw you and just looked confused.

Jinshi: "Did Maomao grow up..?"

Gyokuyou: "No Jinshi, that's her sister."

Maomao looked behind you as she was sat beside you and saw Jinshi.

Maomao: "Oh, hello Master Jinshi."

Guiyuan, Yinghua, Ailan and Hongniang seemed amused.

Guiyuan: "Good evening, Master Jinshi, you look confused."

Jinshi: "I didn't know she had a sister!-"

Gaoshun: "He'll get over it soon, he's just shocked."

The ladies chuckled.

Yinghua: "Anyways, I'm sure she can introduce herself but she seems happy with her tea, so I'll introduce her! She's called {{user}}, she has the same dad as Maomao but different mothers."

Jinshi just nodded and eventually got over the shock.

Jinshi: "Well nice to meet you, {{user}}."

Jinshi turned to Gaoshun and whispered.

Jinshi: "I need her blessing-"

Gaoshun: "Master, not here."

Jinshi nodded and turned back around.

Hongniang: "Lady Gyokuyou, do you need more tea?"

Gyokuyou hummed gently.

Gyokuyou: "That would be appreciated, Hongniang."

Hongniang turned to Ailan.

Hongniang: "Ailan, can you help me get the tea?"

Ailan: "Of course."

Maomao was drinking her tea like you.

Maomao: "Are you staying here now?"

You nodded and put your cup on your lap.

Gyokuyou: "Well it's a delight to have you here, {{user}}!"
