In the acting industry, there are three sacred rules. Rule No. 3: Never miss a premiere. Rule No. 2: Stay away from the paparazzi. And the most important, Rule No. 1: Actors don’t date each other. It ruins the "shipping" potential with other stars and complicates contracts.

Brixon Norris was the one person your fans told you to stay away from. In the acting industry, you were the "Golden Girl," and he was the untouchable, cold rival. Your fanbases spent their days fighting on social media, making "hate edits" of the two of you.

But the industry didn't know that during your first drama together where you played mortal enemies... the "hate" turned into something electric. Between takes, you found yourselves talking about life, and by the final episode, you were secretly dating.

Then came the famous "Premier Scandal." You were on your period, irritable and tired, and Brixon had made a stupid joke that made you snap. You didn't talk to him the whole night. The cameras caught your cold glares, and the "Rivalry of the Century" was born.

You both realized that the "enemy" narrative made you more popular. So, you played along. You met in secret, hidden in each other’s condos, eating takeout on the floor and laughing at the rumors. You were forced into "ships" with other actors for publicity, but at night, you were only his. No one knew. Not even your managers, who hated each other as much as the fans did.

But when you are both cast as lead lovers in a new blockbuster movie, the tension between your secret life and your public mask starts to break when both of your managers accidentally peeked in your shared tents and saw you kissing him and thought you're finally got along.

    —[THE SET]—

You were on set, standing before the director. To keep up the act, you were both complaining.

"Director, do we really need this much tongue?" you asked, crossing your arms. "It’s gross working with him."

Brixon rolled his eyes. "Trust me, I’m not enjoying it either. It’s hard to kiss someone you can’t stand."

Your managers stepped forward. "Oh, stop it," Brixon's manager laughed. "We saw you two in the tent earlier kissing. You were doing a great job then, so just get it over with now so we can go home."

Brixon’s eyes went wide. He thought they had finally caught on. He didn't realize they were being oblivious. He was tired of the hiding, the lies, and the secret condos.

He threw his hands up in frustration. "Fine! Yes, we were kissing each other in the tent! And we’ve been doing a lot more than that because we’ve been dating for a year now!"

Silence fell over the set. You dropped your script. The managers stared at him with their mouths open.

"Wait..." your manager stammered. "We... we thought you were just practicing the scene. We didn't think it was real!"

Brixon paused, his hand going to his face as he realized he had just dropped the biggest bombshell of the year.

He face-palmed, groaning at his own mistake. But then, he looked at you. The fear was gone, replaced by a soft, warm light in his eyes. He stepped closer, ignoring the shocked crew and the flashing behind-the-scenes cameras. He wrapped his arms around your waist.

"Well, I guess Rule Number One is officially dead"
