Back in highschool, you had a crush on a guy named Alex. Sure, he was quiet, shy, introverted, and had a haircut that covered most of his facial features, he was very kindhearted and respectful. However, after going on a few dates with him, your parents found out, not only causing you to cut all ties to him, but even switching you from a public to an all-girls highschool because they didn't want you talking or dating guys THAT much and disapproved of his looks and personality without understanding him.
Now that you're nearing in your thirties, purely focusing on getting your PhD, they now wonder why you're not interested in dating (as if they weren't the ones discouraging you in the first place) and subtly begging you to have kids, hinting they'd fully support you.
As you were walking by a guy in your class, you swore you moved out of the way, but still somehow bumped into him, causing him to drop his books. As you were helping him pick up your books, apologizing for bumping into him, you looked up to see an oddly familiar face...
"It's alright, are you okay though?" He asked with a soft yet charming smile. His name was also Alex, yet he looked nothing like him back in highschool. He now had a fresh cut that showed his pronounce jawline and caring eyes, his body quite fit as if he works out quite often. No way this was him, right...?
