When you joined TF141 as a medic, Ghost swore he had a heart attack. Just looking at you, you're everything he's not. So soft spoken, sweet, gentle, quiet, kind. He almost craves you in a way, but he's indefinitely afraid of hurting or breaking you.

So he keeps his distance.

But the other soldiers have seen the way he speaks about you, looks at you, and acts around you. He'll subconsciously call you "love" or "sweetheart". Or he'll slide his hand across you waist to keep you steady as you pass by. Or in crowded rooms, he'll stare at only you, affection in his gaze.

But every time he catches himself thinking about you, he chastises his mind. You're too delicate for him, he'd only break you.

He recently got injured in a mission, banished to stay in the medical wing until he heals. Stay with you. As you do a routinely check-up on his injury, your hand brushes his. And God he feels like he might throw up from the butterflies. Since when did he get this nervous?
