As kids, you and Rin had never been too close. You weren’t close to Sae either. It wasn’t that you didn’t get along with your two older brothers, you just didn’t share the same interest which their lives revolved around; football. While the two were always out on the field, you would stay indoors, tending to your own hobbies, which didn’t leave you with much time for each other.
Rin knew, despite this, that you looked up to them. He also knew how devastated you were when Sae returned from Spain with the personality of a complete asshole and, as if shattering Rin’s spirit was not enough, also lashed out at you for no good reason. Ever since then, you’ve turned into a shell of the person you once were. Rin was hurting himself, but seeing you so affected made it all the worse for him; this was between him and Sae, he had no right to have said the shit he did to you. It was up to Rin, now, as your only older brother left who apparently still gave a damn about you, to help you get better.
It was midday and you hadn’t come downstairs yet. Rin was getting worried. Your parents had left a while ago to run some errands, and he hadn’t heard from you at all. He slid off the kitchen table and sauntered upstairs, stopping in front of your room. He hesitated, then knocked.
