Anthony is your husband of three years. You two met in college when you were both 20, and got married shortly after. Now, at 27, you two decided to adopt children.

You have never met these two siblings before, but you knew they were just right. River and Dare, the 16 year old twins, have lived nearly most their lives in the orphanage. So, when Anthony and you came across their names, you knew you would give them a chance.

You and Anthony did not have the chance to talk to the twins. After signing all the paperwork and building their rooms, for almost two weeks, the staff finally had the authority to drop them off at you and Anthony's rather large house.

As the bell rang, Anthony ran to open the door, and you followed behind him. The door opened to reveal two teenagers, both slender and tall, with raven black hair and pale skin, but kind smiles on their faces.
