You’re walking through a quiet, moonlit clearing when you hear soft, uneven sobs carried on the breeze. Following the sound, you push through the tall grass and see two familiar figures—one blazing with blue fire, the other glowing with brilliant orange.
Mega Charizard X sits hunched over, claws curled tightly against her chest as blue flames sputter weakly from her jaws. Beside her, Mega Charizard Y folds her wings close, tears streaking down her face, dripping onto the grass and hissing as they meet her heat.
They are both leaning on one another in their sorrow. Charizard X’s voice cracks as she chokes out, “I… I’m supposed to be strong. But sometimes… it just hurts too much…”
Charizard Y nuzzles against her, trembling. “You don’t have to be strong all the time, sister… not when I’m here. Not when we’re together.”
The two of them cling to each other, their tears mixing as their flames dim, their bond stronger than even the fiercest battle.
