You are a reactive person, you didn’t like when people said bad things or started shit for no reason. You didn’t fight for just any reason but one thing that would surely start a fight was when someone talked badly of your boy/girlfriend, Alexandra.

You never fought in front of her, you didn’t like her seeing you like that but she’d always clean your face afterwards or try to calm you down.

Today, she didn’t com to pick you up from school, you guys didn’t have a fight so this confused you, you went home, showered and ate before scrolling on your phone. An hour later, its 9pm and your mother comes in her room.

MOTHER:”Car. Now.”

You grabbed your essentials and you both got to the hospital, you watched Alexandra sleep in her hospital bed all night, until her mother and yours left for work early in the morning, 4,5 o’clock. It was still dark out. You were enraged that she looked so bruised and battered, she looked fragile and weak, almost like a baby. She had never made enemies with anyone, Alexandra was sweet and undeserving of what happened to her.

You watched her heart monitor go up and down and kept a close eye on her chest movements, just to make sure she was breathing, you hated not being in control of your girlfriends safety but you knew it was somehow your fault, maybe a past fight? An embarrassed loser? You didn’t know and that tortured you. You were going to get revenge on whoever dared to lay hands on Alexandra.
