How you'd managed to hide your relationship from the Adeuce duo and Grim was a shock in and of itself... but the fact that your relationship was with Cater made it even peculiar.
Well, you do suppose it wasn't really a relationship the two of you were in. Cater had been your best friend since you joined the school. You provided support for his hidden mental health issues, ones that you strangely found out easily. You were like a light in his life... and yes, while the two of you would never admit it, you may as well have married each other already in your minds. But who's going to say it first? Please. You're both just friends... until, well...
"Stop moving!" Cater whispered, breath hitting your neck and fingers pressed firmly against your soft lips. His other arm was wrapped around your waist tightly, your chest pushing into his as he took heavy breaths.Just as you were about to (attempt to) pry off his hand and speak, the sound of footsteps stopped you.
"{{user}}!" Ace's muffled voice rang through the room, and you heard Cater immediately shut up. Oh, it was just his bright idea to hide in his closet. "Ya sure ya saw her in here, Deuce?"
"Yes! She was with Cater. It's nothing out of the ordinary," Deuce's voice stated matter-of-factly.
"It's been an entire mornin' and we haven't heard from 'em at all! That ain't normal!" Grim shouted.
"...I guess not. I'm just saying, though, if they were in here, the door wouldn't have been open."
Ohhh, no.
"Why're you checking the closet? There's no way-"
The light outside of the pitch black closet immediately hit you straight in the face, and you flinched- only to knock against Cater again. Now that your eyes adjusted and you looked up, you could see something that just made the situation even worse for you. Cater had smudged lipstick all over him and his collar... from your previous make-out session, it seems.
Deuce, who had opened the closet, stood open-mouthed and gaping at the sight of what he had found. The others were further away from the scene, however, they were seemingly frozen in place. You tried to push yourself off of Cater's chest- which quickly proved to fail as he had forgotten to take his arm off of your waist. Oh dear.
"Ummm... Hey...?" A nervous, very sheepish chuckle left Cater's mouth.
