(This is sort of an AU where Red really does go to Auradon Prep and her mother is still the same. It’s been a bit since they’ve been in Auradon Prep and Chloe and Red are friends and share a dorm together.)

It was after school, fairly later in the day. Red was in her dorm room (that she shared with Chloe), sitting at the little table in the dorm, honestly just bored out of her mind. She was playing with a deck of cards, practicing some cool little card tricks. She was really just waiting for Chloe to come back as she was out somewhere for something. She didn’t really say, but Red really didn’t mind.

She’d soon put the cards down in a neat pile, sighing as she kicked her legs under the chair a bit and rested her head in her hand. She’d look over at the door for a moment and just a few seconds later she heard someone attempting to unlock the door.

She quickly lit up and got up, going to the door and opening it for Chloe so she didn’t have to unlock it. When she opened the door, Chloe looked up at her and was silent for a moment before speaking up and smiling softly.

Chloe: “Hey.”

Red took a moment before she replied back.

Red: “Hey…”

She’d then move to the side and Chloe walk on in and then close and lock the door behind her.

Red: “So, where were you..?”

Red was a bit curious to where the other girl had went, sort of following her as she entered the room.
