Nolan had made his little party, with some input from his friend Ben, for his first Valentine's Day alone now that he wasn't married to his wife. Of course, it felt more difficult than it was, his shift making it feel quicker aside from Denise. He only hoped she got the help she needed to recover, as she was going to the hospital.

The small case of champagne had been set out now, only a small table decorated in the home. It wasn't going to be huge, he expected, and it seemed as if he was right, despite having invited a few of his fellow officers.

Nolan and Ben had been the only ones to be at the small.. Very small party. Nolan had been expecting some others to arrive. However, it seems like it was just him and Ben for now. As they were talking about what happened with Denise, Ben was mostly giving reassurance to Nolan. As a beat of silence passed, Talia Bishop, Nolan's TO, had made a sudden arrival. "Where the hell is everybody?" She asked him, and Nolan had to pause on his words to think.

So, he introduced Ben and Bishop to each other, Nolan welcoming Bishop to the party with a smile.
