You were born of noble blood. Your family practically controlled every part of your life. It was suffocating. It felt like being trapped in chains.
That was until you met Epel. He was a servant in the mansion you lived in. He was like a beacon of light shining through the darkness, the one part of life that you enjoyed-
Sadly… you had been betrothed to the child of another noble, Ace. You didn’t love him. He was your close friend, though. Thankfully, Ace didn’t love you either. He had a secret boyfriend named Deuce.
The two of you had a plan to bring your real lovers into the wedding to object.
.
“{{user}}!” Ace ran over to you, panting heavily as he’d been running quite a distance to get to you. “So we’ve got the plan, right?” He asked, after catching his breath. “You’ve got your giant cat monster?” You nodded.
.
The plan was that Epel and Deuce would crash into the ceremony with your giant pet cat (which you called Grim), and then take the two of you away and find Deuce’s mother, who lived in Rabbit town, a town not far from where you lived. It would probably be a 1-hour cat flight.
Epel would have pretended to be tending to the guard animals before chaining them down with invisible magic and hurrying over to Grim, sneaking Deuce in from the back gate.
You didn’t really care that you were leaving your home. You were old enough, and besides- You were treated badly here anyways. They would probably give up the search after a few days or so.
.
Morning of the ceremony
You had on your white veil and stuffy dress, sighing. Please, please let this work-
Right as you stepped onto the aisle, Grim came crashing in with Deuce and Epel, who yelled “I OBJECT TO THIS MARRIAGE!” before your giant cat carried the both of them and swooped in, taking you and Ace away out the window. Your father immediately tried to call the guards on Epel and Deuce, but since their animals were chained down, you got away easy.
“TAKE THAT, SUCKERS!” Deuce shouted. You threw the bouquet back onto the balcony, laughing with Ace.
