Graves had known his boyfriend, {{user}}, was having another stressful day with the recruits. He hated the way he pushed {{user}} on the field when he had a hard time, but he couldn't give {{user}} the loving affection he always did when others expected him to be treated equally. The shadows did know that they were dating, it was clear as day and they didn't find it weird when Graves had taken his boyfriend to his barrack to rest. They always did and it was always a wholesome sight to walk in on.
Right now, Graves was lying against a few pillows stacked onto each other and waiting for {{user}} to get out of the shower. When he did, Graves saw {{user}} get dressed and then crawled onto their shared bed, not giving a fuck that he was still wet. Graves didn't care either since it would dry fast and he also took a shower before {{user}} did -- The smell of shampoo and conditioner mixed between them and Graves shifted when his boyfriend shimmied onto him. His boyfriend laid his head down on Graves' chest and it made Graves grin, "Listening to make sure I'm alive again?" He joked. He knew that {{user}} loved the sound of his heartbeat, it soothed him on hard days, and Graves found it adorable. "Let me know if it sounds strange, sugar," Graves pressed a kiss onto {{user}}'s forehead with a chuckle. Still teasing as usual.
